A MONSTER who starved her two-year-old daughter to death is back on the streets after being freed early from jail.
Marie Sweeney, 42, was clocked walking her new dog after serving five years for letting little Lauren Wade die in a rancid flat in Glasgow.
The tubby fiend had been accused of killing the two-year-old but admitted to the reduced charge of neglect in 2019 and was sentenced to six years and four months behind bars.
Her co-accused, Lauren’s biological mother Margaret Wade, 43, was released last year on parole after pleading guilty to the same crime which led to the tragedy.
We spotted Sweeney on a canal path in Maryhill, Glasgow, as she took a wander with her well groomed pooch.
An onlooker said: “It’s a shame she couldn’t look after Lauren as well as her pet.

“That dog wasn’t skinny, filthy or covered in lice and fleas — unlike her daughter.
“She looked like she didn’t have a care in the world. She hasn’t changed a bit and I recognised her instantly.
“Marie is a scumbag who should still be behind bars — but now she’s out already.”
A source within the family said: “That’s both Margaret and Marie out now and life has resumed as normal for them.

“Lauren has been forgotten in all this. That’s the worst part.”
It’s believed Sweeney was freed from the Bella Centre, a cushy open nick in Dundee, earlier this year.
We told last year how Wade and Sweeney snubbed a chance to visit their tot’s neglected grave — after going to a funeral just yards away.
The pair attended the service for Wade’s mum Jeanie, 61, close to where tragic Lauren is buried in an overgrown plot near Glasgow Crematorium.
Sweeney received compassionate leave to be there.
But they didn’t bother to drive the two minutes to their own daughter’s resting place in Lambhill Cemetery afterwards.
We also told how little Lauren’s grave was left without a headstone after the pair blew £2,000 funeral cash raised on booze.
An empty vase, tatty doll and cheap trinkets are all that marked her resting place.
Lauren was found in a hellhole flat in Sighthill, Glasgow, on March 20, 2015, clinging to life and covered in lice and fleas but died shortly after admission to hospital.
The High Court in Glasgow heard in 2019 how the “skinny and dirty” child had gone without proper food or care in the filthy hovel for months.
Following a 999 call when Lauren was found “unresponsive”, paramedics rushed her to hospital but she died within minutes due to complications from malnutrition.
The ambulance used to convey the tragic youngster to medics had to be deep cleaned due to the lice infestation on her body.
Sweeney and Wade also pleaded guilty to the wilful neglect of two other kids between 2007 and 2015.
Caging them, Lady Stacey told the pair: “You’d been offered advice, it was not taken.
“You failed in your duties to this child.”
Biological mum Wade, bottom right, had told cops she had “no guilt” over her daughter’s death.
And her lawyer Brian McConnachie said her mental health issues were “partially responsible” for the crimes.
Wade remains remorseless despite being freed early from jail last year.
She was released on parole in 2022 and stayed hidden until we tracked her down to a grim high rise tower block in Blairdardie, Glasgow.
She was living surrounded by families who were completely oblivious to her shocking past.
Wade told our man to “f*** off” when he asked if she regretted the terrible death of her daughter — eight years to the day since she died.

The job, reserved for well-behaved lags, was part of her bid to be granted parole.
